I understand it's mostly for the trainer...but you still need to take them reflectors off and the cassette frisbee.

Not a bad deal for $149...I paid about $150 for a rear wheel setup and trainer tire...Should have just got a whole new bike...LOL

I will upgrade alittle like aerobars and change the pedals. Sometimes Walmart has just what you need  for the right price lolol

I think i have the same bike, got it at walmart for last season to see if i could finish a Tri. 3 Tri's later i now use it as a trainer and just bought a brand new road bike.

Nice! Looks pretty similar to my bike (a Marin Venezia) that I got for $200 off craigslist, the price was right and she's fast enough to stick with the disc wheel bikes.

I think there should not only be early-80's style triathlons (can't use any equipment/clothing newer than 1985).... but there should be a "Walmart" triathlon... can't use any equipment/clothing that you didn't get at Walmart!

Yeah but think of the cost to benefit ratio there. It might hurt but when you done using your clothing just give it back and get a full refund lol. I am kidding I am kidding. One thing I do like about the bike is that the wheels are going to  last a long time on the trainer with all that tread on it.

Nice!

My trainer bike is a 1980 10 speed I bought at Target for $69. A big difference is I rode that bike at least 10,000 miles before I got a new road bike. I've got some old, late 80s, aerobars on it.

My wife and both have a Gmc bike. We picked them up for about $169 each. 2 seasons later they have been great beginer bikes for us. Do I WANT a   (___insert your favorite dream bike here___) of course I do. Will this work until I make the comitment to do anything longer than sprint tri's...yes sir! I've done 1 50 mile ride on it, but usually ride 20-25 miles at a time 3 days a week. So far a solid bike for the money!!

I took the trainer bike (above) out for a small 20mile ride this morning and it went well, nice and smooth. Then I took my tri bike out for the same 20mile ride and lets just say when I road my tri bike I felt like a rock star  and moving faster. I could tell the weight diffrence for sure. I like my trainer bike it has its specific job to do and not asking more out of it.

Reflectors can go, but keep rockin' the dork disc!
