I hope he has nothing serious, if he did the cycling sites would have something up already and there is nothing. Cav is amazing and more so that train, WHAT THE HELL. they dominated the front for 10miles even when saxo took the front with a few k to go they put their train back together and blew passed the saxo riders like they were beginners and powered through the finish.

Look at the stats and they will show that Cav's success is almost exclusively dependant on the HTC train dropping him off with 200 metres to go. In particular if Renshaw is not dropping him off at the right moment his success rate drops significantly. Earlier in the season when Mark Renshaw was on a break and teh HTC train did not consist the usual members Cav's results were non-existent.

Now, I agree that Cav is probably the fastest guy in the Peloton over a couple hundred metres, but without his team his results sheet does not look anywhere near as impressive.

Cav does have some impressive wins to his name but until he secures a Green jersey in the TdF he cannot be considered a great srpinter, IMO.

Only caught the end of the stage today which was pretty exciting. Some of those guys that went down it looked pretty painful, tore up a lot of jerseys and bibs.

yeah the way they set up the train was amazing.  Saxo tried to set up haiedo (SP?) but got shut down on the last lap.

Now I wonder were they really going that fast that no other team could take control of the sprint?  If so that's amazing in itself.

What a great couple of weeks for a cycling fan!

X100.  I like Cav at first but have heard him talk a little too much to still cheer for him.  I will admit he is extremely fast however, I really think Tyler Ferar can take him if given the right lead out.
