Okay, Versus, just jumped the shark, they cut away in the last mile to go to a NHL pregame show. Did they get caught... can't get the website to load.

Well, I guess that's interesting... no Idea how Z got it, but he did. Good for him. Did anybody catch the surfer on the Bonny doon, in a full wetsuit and all? Thats almost crazier than anything you see in the TDF.

I didn't see it all but from what I saw/heard/read, RadioShack pulled back the break at the base of the climb and then Horner rode some solid tempo softening everyone up for the climb (according to the SRM data they were showing he was doing 500W for a decent period of time).  Then an attack was launched (forget who) that took the top three, Armstrong and Danielson up the road.  When Levi went, Rogers and Zabriskie went too and Armstrong and Danielson starting covering any attacks.

Yeah.  I couldn't believe it either.  I guess it is a good thing NHL will be over by the time TdF starts.  Can you imagine them cutting away from that?!?!?!  Idiots.

It was cool to see Lance neutralize all the chase attempts, he was all over them. The main pelaton was chasing and closing the gap to within 20 seconds up to the few last miles, there was not enought real estate left to catch up to the three riders.
The announcers mentioned Zabriskie was having trouble staying with the break away,he did not look tired as he blew by Levi at the finish!

*&$(%&ing Versus.  Owned by comcast, also owns the flyers....  hmmm.......

From Lance on Twitter: lancearmstrong Who's the dumba$$ @versustv that cut off @AmgenTourofCali coverage w/ a mile to go for pregame hockey??

The little "go to www.amgen" bit didn't really help us employed folks who happen to DVR the race

Happy for DZ though

I'm dragging b*tt today. I stayed up to watch the recap show....I was out picking up a race packet for my Du this weeking hitting refresh on my twitter feed following. I about walk into oncoming traffic, when I got the post that Z attacked with 800m to go....lol.

Horner's job (he is doing a daily blog) was to ripped the field apart at the base of Bonny Doon. They (Radio Shack) thought when Levi attached with Rogers or Z would come with, but not both.

Z looked really strong yesterday and planned the sprint perfectly, he needed to be in the lead at the last turn, the run to the finish after the turn was very short.

So fired up for Garmin and Z!

How did Andy Schleck not get on that break?  In fact, he wasn't even able to get into the chase group.  What does that say about his fitness level at this stage of the season?
