Guess I'll put my goals in this thread too.

Bike - 500 km
Run - 90 km
Swim - 24 km

Edit - With 1 km of the swim allready knocked off, and 30 k on the bike pedalled over.

Our team = a sure bet, there' s a hard A$$ Texan

Courtney, So Fresh So Clean will be joining your team.

I will need a final tally of everyone's goals (PM them to me). It's easier for me to read single PM's from each Captain instead of hunting for goals (some scattered through a thread) in all 10 threads. THANKS!

I've been orphaned to this team... but a heart of a lion is better than a heart of a beverage!

tell me what you think:
Cycle 280km
Run 70k
swim 15k - I know that's weak for me, but I don't feel like swimming much right now.
fyi: I can help anyone with swimming needs because, as the avatar suggests, I've raced before (eleven years to be exact).

with the huge proportion of canadians on our team compared to others, I propose the metric system. Not only are we honouring the US-Germany agreement to convert languages and measurement styles, there are other reasons:

The pool has three different lengths, two of which are in meters
Cycling is based more on the 'Old world', which uses the metric system.
Running I don't care - a lot of people use miles

And another reason... our name is french, or Québequois (sp?)... and the french invented the meter (one ten millionth of a quarter circumference of the earth)

may someone tell me how I can add our team to my blog list - so I can 'inspire' everyone?

When in your training log, you will see next to your monthly calendar that looks like a window with gear.  If you click on that it will take you to a control panel.  Here you can give your log a title, put your friends in so you have links to their logs.  You can also list any equipment and your short and long term goals.  Hope this answers your question.

As of today:

The rain is going to keep me off the bike for a few days, I'll need to play catch-up.
