June 2 2010 211.6lbs June 9 - 210.5lbs June 16 - 210.1lbs June 23 - 214.9lbs June 30 205lbs that is almost 5lbs not sure that is all weight i did have a few more beers over the weekend but trained harder to make up for it... cant tell if is water. But shouldnt be 5lbs of weight gain. going to be a lot more strict and would like to have some suggestions for meal plans I am 6ft tall and train all days with 3 double trains from this week ! I think i am eating enough my daily diet looks something like this Breakfast two eggs, two slices wholemeal toast, mushrooms Snack, Two pieces of fruit (incl one banana) sometime toast if not had it with breakfast Workout plus skimmed flat white Lunch - Normally left over so chilli and rice or curry and rice Snack - More fruit maybe another coffee Dinner - Salad with chicken and bread or potato.... glass of wine I am hoping it is just water weight... i do add salt to a fair bit of things eggs, and salad |

Doing between 1600 and 1900 calories a day although went over some on the weekend. I guess I have made my goal already but I am expecting the next 5lbs to be harder. |

Techdriver- Congrats on completing your 1st tri. The addiction has begun. As for me, I did not have the greatest week with my weight. But, I have no one but myself to blame as I was not tracking what I ate consistantly and the weekend seemed like a nonstop buffet. On a positive note, I have been consistant about the exercise and did my longest bike ride (30 miles) on Sunday and have steadily improved my average mph. Here's the damages Starting weight - 176 June 2nd- 174.5 June 9th- 172.5 June 16- 171.5 June 23- 173.5 Up 2. Time to buckle down. |

I am sure you can do it you have one week left to control monitor and adjust intake and workout outputs.. I have missed two days of peaching this month.. My goal was the whole month, but I missed a day to pick up my new car. And I decided to take a day off right before my Try a Tri and get some much needed rest. Fully back at it and hope to be 28 days as well. |

I knew I wasn't going to lose weight (or at least not much) but I wasn't expecting a 2 pound gain. I've been averaging a 2 lb loss per week which means a 1000 calorie per day deficit, to gain 2 pounds I'd have to have a surplus of 1000 calories per day and I didn't. I did however have a much higher carb ratio than normal. Usually I keep it to 40-45% but this week it was closer to 60%. I did drink on Saturday which I haven't been doing, but I still ate well and I had Scotch and water so it wasn't really high calorie drinks. My calorie count averaged 500 calories per day more than I had been and I was very run down this week so my exercise wasn't as good (I didn't stay peach the whole week), but I did expect to maintain. It's a new week and I'm going back down to 1750 calories per day and I did get in a decent run this morning. May 26th -195.5 June 2nd - 193.5 June 9th - 189.5 June 16th - 188.5 June 23rd - 190.5 I really wanted to hit 180 by my birthday on July 13th, but that isn't going to happen now. I really need to kick it in to high gear this week. It is very humbling reporting a gain. Congrats to all the people who lost this week - great job. |

Its been hard for me not to workout, but I want to do well in my race, so I'm sticking to the plan. Anyways, keep at it everyone! Here's my month thus far: End of May: 214 June 2nd: 212 June 9th: 208 June 16th: 205 June 23rd: 202 June 30th: My goal was 204, so I'm now hoping to be at an even 200 at the end of the month! |

I considered not reporting my weight this week because I gained too. So give yourself credit for being accountable and sticking to it.
