Hey Team, let's not get to worried now.  Most of us have done about 75% of our proposed challenge in the first 3 weeks and with 1 week reamining in this month, I am confident that we can complete the remaining 25%.

1) Team Yuengling   85%
2) Team Thunderbird 76%
3) Team Lucky Lancers 74%
4) Team Guiness  74%
5) Team Good-in-10tions  74%
6) Team Hoss  71%
7) Team Crazy 8's  65%
8) Team Endless Summer 64%
9) Team Five Alive  62%
10) Team Couer de Leone 57%

It's not about winning ... but we ARE ahead of Teams Endless Summer, Five Alive and Coeur de Leone!!!  :-)

I think we actually might be ahead of that though since my weekend totals didn't get in until Monday night. Then again I might be wrong....

I feel like a schmuck but I might make it on the bike. I have several long rides scheduled, one with other people so I can't duck out of it.

Michel, I think you have the wrong stats for my swim.  I have swam 11,457 yards which brings my percentage up to 76%.  WOO!

Sorry harmony.  The discrepancy can be attributed to the fact that my computer reads your stats in meters as opposed to yards.  I verified your log and you have done 10,476 meters, which is indeed  11,457 yards, in your swim.

I seem to bungle the stats every time I look them up in team members' logs.  This, as explained above, is due to my computer reading your logs in meters for the swim and miles for the bike and run.  In order to avoid any confusion and errors for the final Challenge stats, could everyone send me theirs either on Sunday evening, July 31, or Monday morning, August 1.  Whether your challenge was in meters or yards, miles or kilometers or even in time (minutes), send me the  information in this format: username - s10,000 / b350 / r120

Ooh guess who just finished their swim goal! I hit 24,050 meters today! Anyone want to buy the extra 50 meters? I'll trade you for some running time.

Good evening Crazy 8's,

It's Thursday night... do you know where your teammates are???  I just finished a nice long run/swim/run brick.  Long for me anyway.  I feel great, but I fear that I might pay for it in the morning.  I'm off to stretch.  I hope everyone else is doing well.

Run/swim/run brick? Yikes. Just stay alive for the next 4 days, and then....you can start the next challenge! And no I don't know where my teammates are. This thread is too quiet.

Hi everyone.  It's kind of eerie here at work because most everyone is away either on summer vacation of taking the day off because it is a long weekend!  Gina, that sounds great, I hope that you do get the run done.  Give it all you got!  Dave, a run/swim/run sounds nice.  I'll have to try that one of these days.

Just another 2.5 days to go Team!  I've set another challenge of 400 miles on the bike to my initial 250 mile challenge.  Hopefully I will have that done by tonight or tomorow!!!

August Challenge has a thread started. Sounds like rules are the same as this month's Challenge. Let's keep our great group together.

I'm all for keeping the group together, but I would have liked the August challenge to be something different. Since I'm doing HALF of my run challenge during the last week, I need a rest from at least one of the sports. Hmm...maybe we need a....weight lifting challenge or something. Now THAT is something that I need to be challenged to do.

Okay, here's the list for Team Crazy 8's thus far.  If you want to remain in this team, add your name to the list, copy it and paste it in your reply.  And, let's have a show of hands for whoever wants to be Team Captain.

Machiavelo - s12,000m (13,120 yards)/b500kms (350 miles) /run 50kms (35 miles)
harmony

Also, what does everyone think of  everyone doing the challenge in the same units of either time or distance but not both?

Harmony, it is not necessary for you to convert your challenge miles to meters.  It does not matter wich you choose, standard or metric, it's the number that counts.  I have decided that if I am the Captain again for the August Challenge, that I would not go searching for team members' stats each week.  I would only submit whatever stats I received.  The onus would be with each team member to submit his/her stats on time or not be counted.

Machiavelo -- S 13,000y / B 350m / R 35m

harmony ----- S   2,000y / B 110m / R 55m
