The world is not so simple, its not just about cupcakes and bones anymore.  Now, I've got a whole host of wacko's to throw down.  But, in typical fashion, Team 9'er will trounce all of the would-be challengers.

Now, what is this bet all about, anyway?

Karl, in deference to your abilities and longevity as a triathlete, I had intended not to throw any smack your way.  You are one of the good people here, and I definitely admire your style.

That being said, Kim hasn't picked a charity for your donations to go to yet - I'm sure she'll let you know as soon as she figures it out.  In the meantime, just train hard, because I doubt the rest of your team will be supporting you very much...

courtney_leone - 2005-07-06 8:17 PM  Oh I wasn't talking about your riding, honey. Its your mental capabilities that I'm worried about. Do I need to spell it out for you? You seem confused, befuddled. You should probably go lie down.

You may want to switch from Cheerios to Wheaties - you're going to need them before this month is over...

Whoever owns the yellow duck, he was in our yard again. I realize it's probably just because he secretly wishes he was on our team, but he keeps pooping over there. Keep him on your side of the fence, or we won't be held responsible if he gets caught underfoot and squished.

Go Team Yeungling!

I'm sorry, were you talking to me?  I apologize for not paying attention to you, team yellow-bellies, I was swimming and biking.  I'll try to be more attentive next time.

I don't know Joe, you always SAY you are swimming and biking, but then hmmm.... you keep posting all these comments.  Could it be that you are only smack talking????

Go Team Hoss!!!!

Now, why would I wish to be on a team full of losers?

Lame...

As in Team Coeur de Lame?  Get a shotgun, doesn't bother me in the least.  I bet your aiming is as bad as your attempts at smack-talk...

Sure, I guess. If that's ALL you got.

Can your bike even GO more than 6 miles at a time?

courtney_leone - 2005-07-07 9:48 AM Sad thing is, probably not. My bike is old, borrowed, the fit is horrible, and it hurts to ride. So play nice today and wish me luck for the job interview I'm about to go on so I can get a decent paycheck and buy a badA$$ bike. Thanks! XOXO

Good luck on the interview, and good luck getting a badass bike.  Of course, the bike is only as good as the motor moving it...

Thank you....my motor is fine, I guess.

How can you tell after only 6 miles?

courtney_leone - 2005-07-07 10:30 AM Maybe tomorrow I'll ride like, 50 miles, or maybe I should just out to El Paso and back. That's like, 800 miles or something? And then I'll PM you as soon as I get back. How's that sound?

I wouldn't send the local Jr. High football team to play the Patriots (maybe the Raiders...), so I wouldn't expect you to ride 50 miles in one day.  Although, if you DID ride 50, you'd be closer to 2nd in the placing, after we win the challenge...

I do admire your courage - it seems most of the others have given up talking smack...

Sorry, I'm too busy working out to take up a new past-time.

It's going to take you a long time to meet your biking goal if you only do it 2 miles at a time.

Too busy working out?  Playing volleyball is a workout?

And I've got ALL month to hit my goals.  If I did them all in the first week, this whole challenge thing wouldn't be very much fun for you, now would it?

Congrats!  Now you'll be able to get a REAL bike!

And I suppose you're right - you should finally go running...
