Looks like rain this weekend

Do not take the slicks off the bike. Bike tires do not need tread likje car tires. There is no worry about hydroplaning. The tires are always in contact with the road.

Be careful taking turns so your bike does not slip out from under you.

Watch out for painted markings on the roads or railroad crossings.

Avoid water puddles if possible, might hide a deep pothole.

Be aware that the stopping takes longer in the rain.

You can put your stuff in a garbage bag if you want, but I just ingnore that it is raining and set up like normal in transition area.

If it is cold be sure to have some dry clothes to get into after the race.

Most of all enjoy yourself inspite of the weather.
