Subject: WTT-Jamis Dakota Elite - $TriBike I have a 2009 Jamis Dakota Elite that I'd consider trading for a tri bike. The Jamis is stock, except I upgraded the wheels from stock Shimano to Stan's Tubeless Alpine wheelset, all black with red spoke nipples. I have ridden this bike about 4 times and would rather stick to cross racing and triathlons. The bike is in almost new shape, just a few paint scuffs from riding it. It also has Geax Barro Mountain TNT tires, which are phenomenal. http://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/thebikes/hardtails/dakota/09_dakotaelite.html The bike is a 19". I'm 6' tall, and fits me pretty good although I prefer a pretty long TT and this bike doesn't have one. It's pretty standard geometry. I can't help with any fit questions, so please look over the geometry and Jamis' website. I'm looking for a carbon Tri bike, something that would fit someone 5'11" or 6'. It has to be fairly new, but I know I'm not going to get a 2010 Argon 18 as well. Shoot me a PM if you are interested, and are wanting to upgrade our tri bike/want a MTB/ or are getting out of Triathlons. I'll post actual pics in the next day. Thanks!
