Anyone doing this or done it in the past?  Scheduled for 8/1.  300 yd pool swim, 10 mile bike, 5 k run.  I just did my first tri in LITH this year and caught the bug.  Planning on doing the Lake Geneva sprint on 9/11, but I bought a new bike and was thinking of doing Glenview to get some practice with transitions and the new bike.

I did it last year and am planning on it again this year.  Short, but really well-run.  Good for practice or just a fun race.  Traffic is well-managed on the bike and the run has a few little hills (well the same hill that you have to run twice) just to keep things interesting.

A nice, well run little race.  Good for beginners, although the pool swim can be frustrating as it always gets backed up.

It's a nice race, very well run and friendly environment. Caps out at about 400 people. Course is basic since it's in the Glenview neighborhood but traffic is managed well and the run is in the park trails. Pool does get back up, so be sure to seed yourself appropriately in the swim.
