Swim
Comments: Getting better but still have a ways to go. What would you do differently?: Swim more. Transition 1
Comments: Boat ramp to transition area is about a 500 yard uphill jog. Left sandals on the ramp to run in since the road would tear up bare feet. Bike
Comments: Could have gone a little harder. What would you do differently?: Bear down a little more. Transition 2
Comments: About as fast as I can transition. What would you do differently?: Unsnap helmet while running with bike. Run
Comments: Had enough left to sprint the final 1/4 mile. What would you do differently?: Push a little harder from now on. Post race
Warm down: Walked off the lactic acid and drank Gatorade. What limited your ability to perform faster: Anxiety the night before due to the 40 degree weather. I assumed the water would be FREEZING cold but found it comfortable. Didn't sleep much due to worrying about that. Would have done much better if I had tested the water the night before. Event comments: The name says it all. That could be the neatest place to hold a triathlon in the state. Last updated: 2004-10-02 12:00 AM
