Subject: noisy hed wheels...
Is this common with Hed 3 carbon wheels, I changed my training wheels to my race and found them to be noisy on smooth even ground they were fine but as soon as the road was not so smooth it sounded like I was riding across gravel. Have only used them one other time to try them out and can't remember if they were like this then.

I have some older Hed3s and they make a little "whoosh whoosh" sound, but nothing I would consider "noisy."

I had a bearing type knock on my rear h3 and they tried to fix it 3 times then finally sent me a new one and it has been quiet on all roads. John.

I have a HED 3C front.  The wheel does not turn as easily as my other wheels, Stinger, etc.  I don't remember testing when I first got it so I don't know if it is worst then when I purchased the wheel new.  But no sound.
