Lake Lemon Tri, Anyone doing it??

I did this race last year. The course is very difficult! Major hills on both the bike and run. If your looking to challenge yourself it is a great course for that.

Yes - this will actually be my first ever and I am questioning my sanity!!! I live here in B'town so am able to get out on the route. However it won't make it any easier! the bike part is ok - only 1 short steep hill on the return but the run!!!! Holy do do!!! There is a mother of all hills to get up to the finish - even just leaving to start the run is a long slow incline! I think I will be just pleased to finish and not puke! Glad to hear it is considered tough by veterans- I was beginning to think I was a major wimp when I went out last week to try it out!
Looking forward to it though I think! 

should be interesting.. I love the hills on the bike, but no so much on the run...  I did a tri at hueston woods in oxford ohio a couple weeks ago and the first quater mile of the run was straight up hill...

Yup. That's basically it. 1/4 mile mix of sharp and steady climbs, then a massive two tiered downhill, then back up that hill. sucks! but i love the course overall. Glad they fixed the swim this year
