Ellen!  Great to hear from you again, long time no talk.  The real question is.... How is MAY holding up?

14 hour mark coming up.  I saw this on their update pages.  What about Brett Hull?

LaFontaine finishes!

Pat LaFontaine, possibly the greatest American hockey player ever, just came across the finish line.

It is his second Ironman finish -- he finished Ford Ironman Florida last November.

May was half crazed last time I spoke with her, running around like a mad woman trying to get pictures!  LOL  She said she saw both Max and Gary and they looked great!

She had to be at the finish line at 8 and I haven't spoken to her since.

I saw my friend Tom Noble cross @ 13:38. At 52, this was his 13th IM!!!! If you saw it, his grandson ran the finish line with him carrying a sign that said "Tom's 13th IronMan" He trains at the same park I do, while I am running, he will pass me on the bike, slap my shoulder and say "tag, your it!!!" or "keep moving, only 20 miles to go".....

EDIT: Before I became a "TRI dork" I was a "home theater dork" so this is how I watch the LPIM, streaming live using a computer conected to my TV (computer on right of speaker). Picture is kinda pixlized that big, but still watchable after the upconvertion to HDTV level. BT on the big screen is awsome (hottie thread, do I need to say anymore!) (I'm such a dork, snort)....

Yep, lots and lots of cables. My goal was to have them as concealed as possible. I only use it for watching TDF (now I gunna have withdrawls) and an occasional movie. Lots of music while on bike trainer and treadmill!!

Tom is my IM hero!! I see him twice a week while training. He said it will be about 2 weeks till he is back at his "full" again. He has the "M-dot" tat on his calf, he said it hurt worse than any IM. I can hardly wait to see him to give proper congradulations.
