Google Maps Pedometer

Are you like me and constantly guesstimating or driving your running/biking routes? Well, guess no more. Someone has used the Google Maps tool to allow you to trace your routes and get a distance. It even has a little calorie burning calculator.

Note: There are full instructions on the page on how to use it. Basically you find your neighborhood on the map and get a good zoom level and double click each waypoint until you complete your route. Enjoy!

Post one of your routes if you want. I use ImageShack to host images since they make it easy to use thumbnails.

Here's my current nightly run (about 5.1 miles) I had guessed it around 5 so I was pretty close: (click image for full size)
