Subject: Swimming Pools in Chicago
I will be travelling to Chicago October 2nd through the 6th and would like to know if there are any pools that are open to the public. I will be staying at the Chicago Marriott Downtown, 540 North Michigan Ave. Any help would be great.

I think Lake Michigan is going to be a bit cool by that time...
Sure the hotel has a pool, not sure if it's suitable for distance swimming though.
I'm sure the Mariott has a link with lake shore athletic club who have a proper lap pool.

Would it be too cold for a wetsuit? Is it easy enough to swim there if I really wanted to?

With a full sleeve suit I guess it may be fine, I think it's low 60's.There's no life guards on anymore, but you can still swim there.

The Intercontinental Hotel has a decent lap pool and I think it's across the street from the Marriott
