Hey, BT'r from long ago has returned.  I'm signed up for the race, I think this might be the 5th time I've participated in this one.  Are there any BT events planned either pre or post race?

In the past, we've picked a meeting spot for dinner on Sat afternoon or eve.  We also had a keg at the finish of the race one year.

Just got a free entry from Gu! So, I'm in!

No word on my knee injury yet. If you see me in my Odwalla tri top walking the 10k, don't encourage me to run! Just high-five me for still being out on the course, ok?

I'm staying with a friend in St Pete (who is going to SMOKE me in the tri, even if I can run). Pretty sure I'm staying Sunday night, too, for a little post-race partying

They posted on twitter that they had 3 entries, and I responded quickly enough

As inane as twitter is, I've gotten a lot of things through giveaways and contests there...

I'll be at Moon Under Water (on Beach Drive, between 3rd and 4th Avenue) at around 8pm. Join me for a cold one, if you would like to socialize.

PM me for my cell if you're up for it.

Here is the Lake Minneola water temp that the USAT (USA Triathlon) official posted at Clermont's Waterfront Park on Sunday, March 27, 2011 (prior to the start of the 28th Annual Great Clermont Triathlon).

I am posting the image not so much to show off Lake Minneola's water temp from a couple of weeks ago, but to remind people about the USAT levels of wetsuit use.

Thanks,
Mark

I'm not wearing a wetsuit regardless of how the officials call it. They don't want weak or intimidated  swimmers in the water without a wetsuit, so I'm sure they'll "find" cooler water.

Wearing a wetsuit with the water at 80o - BLAH! That's going to be unpleasant.

What time do you plan on checking in your bike Saturday?  I saw Renee posted an 8 PM liquid carb loading, but I plan on driving back to Bradenton after check-in and was hoping to meet up with some other BTers a little earlier.

I'll probably be there at around 7pm but I'm ALWAYS late so I didn't want to commit to earlier than 8pm.
