I am planning a ride of the IM TX Bike Course Sat. Jan 22 in the am if anyone wants to join please PM me.

Also I am going to run a loop of the run course Sun Jan. 23 in the morning.

Please let me know if anyone wants to join!

Can't make it down but do you happen to use a Garmin?  I am wanting to get a version on the course into my Computrainer and if you are riding the whole thing perhaps you could e-mail the file to me!

This will not be a heated ride.  Pace will average about 17-19mph, just a long day!  I will be starting at about 8am but do not have any further plans yet, just trying to get someone else to do this with me!

No camera or mount, if someone has one for me to borrow I would be more than happy to video.

I have a garmin 500 so I can send you the file afterwards, I will have to fudge my power numbers though so you wont make fun of me.

I attempted to drive the course on Sunday and got lost like no other. Ended up diving the course backwards for a way through the State Forest, not meaning to...The directions given on the site are not the greatest plust there is a section of the course that road is closed probably ~ mile 20ish and have to detour around. The detour is not marked either. If it wasnt for my GPS it would've been difficult. I think in the IM TX thread in the Texas room there is talk about the bike course and directinons..not sure what page it is. It was a spur of the momement thing to do on Sunday so didnt do any searching prior to heading out.  I would join ya..but my schedule is fooked this weekend due to work and family. Good luck
