Subject: New to Tris, need help with bike purchase
Hey guys,

I'm new to triathlons and "competitive" cycling.  I'm looking at getting a decent road bike for around 1k to use for a while.  I have a few different ideas I'm looking at, and I'd enjoy some opinions.

First, http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/sprint_x.htm. It's a 2011 Motobecane Sprint.  It's an aluminum frame with carbon seatstays and a carbon fork.  It's all ultegra 6600 and comes with vuelta xrp pros for 999.

Second,  http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/immortalpro_specialsale.htm.  This is a 2010 Motobecane Immortal Pro.  It's a carbon body with an ultegra rear derailleur and the rest of the components are 105, but comes with Shimano WH-R500 wheels for 999.

Third, my local bike shop has a 2010 specialized allez elite for 999 (http://citybikes.com/product/10-specialized-allez-elite-57586-1.htm).  the only issue is this is a 58cm, the others are 60cm and 59cm respectively, and I'm 6'2" and I think the 58cm is slightly small.  However, the Allez has all 105 components and Mavic wheels.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Also, here's a 2011 Windsor Knight for 899 (http://bikesdirect.com/products/windsor/knight_x.htm).  The Knight has all Ultegra as well and a carbon fork, but not seatstays.  This also comes with the vuelta xrp pro wheels.

There are much more bike expert people on here than me, but the first thing I'd prioritize is fit. Choosing between a bike that fits exact, versus one with higher grade components but fits "pretty close," I'd go for the lower end bike that fits every time.

You're 6'2" - think how useful it would be to get an Armani suit that's made for a 5'11" guy. You will be better off in a Men's Wearhouse suit that actually fits.
