Subject: Carrying a Spare Tubular
I just made the swith from clinchers to tubulars and am loving it. I would like to carry a spare on my bike but having a tubular tire fit into my slab sonic wing is hard. Is there a tire that folds up nicer then the cheap tubulars I bought for training, or do i have to find a different way to carry a spare.

Make it into a figure-8 and wear it like a collar bone brace?

you kinda fold them into thirds and tuck it up. I trained on Tubulars two seasons ago, only carried a spare once in ~5000 miles that season. Carried and used Tufo Extreme sealant. I tried other things like Pit Stop and Hutchinson's offering, liked Tufo's results the best. All ways worked. When I've raced IMs with Tubulars I just fold the spare up into a behind the saddle bottle holder. For 70.3 I just take sealant.
