Garmin released a demo of the new Forerunner 610: http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/12/garmin-intros-the-forerunner-610-its-first-touchscreen-gps-watc/

It's a touchscreen.  Having used the Forerunner 405, I'm not sure this is going to be a good thing.

I think I will pass on the 610, I have an FR 305, and when it bites the dust I will update to a 310.

Yeah I just read the DCR review.  Was really hoping the new Garmin product was going to be an update to the 310XT.  Guess I better ship mine off to get fixed as there is nothing to new to wait for...
