Subject: Anyone in Hilo, HI

Looking for anyone on the Hilo side of the Big Island or near to train with.  Seems there are so many people and groups over in Kona but I can't find anyone on this side of the island.

Also, if anyone is interested and racing the Ironman 70.3 Hawaii and looking to come train before hand for a few weeks before the race I have a spare house that someone could come and use.

Check with Hilo Bike Hub, when I lived there in 06 I found some guys there to bike with but I usually swim and run alone. Swimming at Carlsmith Beach park is good, there is an area to the right of it that is somewhat protected just don't get too distracted with the occasional sea turtle you may run in to. My normal bike route would take me out of Hilo down Bayfront then onto Kalanianaole Ave to the end of, then back turn onto Mamalahoa Hwy and up to volcano. One of the rides the guys at Hilo Bike do is from Hilo Bay to the top of Mauno Loa but I'm not that strong of a rider. I miss living in Hilo, great place to be.
