I'm looking for some variety since I'm new here I thought I would ask.

Depends on where you're at, but the most popular route is probably heading down hill road from Camelsback park in the north end. It's a nice route because it has a good bike lane the whole way out until you hit the back side of Eagle and then it's quieter roads out there.

My most frequent rides are the Boise 70.3 route, Hidden Springs (plenty of climbing), and Highway 21 to Spring Shores then on to the end of the paved road just below Arrow Rock dam.

That is pretty much what I did when I was living in Boise.

Now that I am in Nampa there are endless choices of quiet farm roads to ride. Much more variety than in Boise.
