Subject: One week until first Tri
I can't believe it is so close, I am excited, nervous, scared all at once. All the training keeps going through my head and I hope it was enough. In my mind I have convinced myself that I am going to kill it. But after my half last week my body is telling me I'm crazy right now. I ran yesterday for the first time since the half and it hurt. I know it will go away I hope but it starts playing those mental games. Anyways I can't wait!! There was only one Clydesdale last year so I signed up AG, and I can't wait to give some of those skinny guy's a run for there money!!!!

By next weekend all the residaul soreness should be gone from your race last week.  Just relax, enjoy your last weekend of training and then taper for your race.  Sleep well and eat well, most of the hard work is done, now is your reward

Thanks, the soreness is gone!!  I did a 30 minute easy run yesterday and felt good, my body kept saying faster, faster. I had to keep telling myself to relax and not push it. Only 5 more day's woohoo!

Good uck. Mine's in about 3 weeks. Somedays i think I will have no problem other days I'm like wth was I thinking. Now I just told myself to just shut up and do it. Just let you training get you through it.
