Subject: Head and eye position in aero position
This has probably been asked before but I was wondering what the head and eye position is suppose to be when in aero.

Naturally, my head is slanted toward the street so I would be looking only 10 feet ahead of me toward the street, and I just look straight ahead past the 10 feet by moving my eyes

OR

Am I suppose to tilt my head upwards so that it's parallel to the street so that I am actually looking straight ahead.

Hope I'm making sense

Maybe not so much parallel, but you need to be looking far enough down the road to avoid running over something in the road (or hitting something).

The faster your speed, the farther down the road you need to be looking.

I have to lift my head and look head or I will get smashed like a bug by a gravel hauler. You want to lift your head enough to see the road ahead of you and be aware of what is going on around you. Last week there was a woman coming in as I was headed out (the road I bike is a bike paradise and loaded with triathletes, all faster than me) wearing a headset and staring about 10 feet in front of her. I was scared for her.

I say put yourself in a position where you feel comfortable for a long period of time and your still fully alert to wha'ts ahead. Your most aero with a teardrop shapped helmet (like the LG rocket or something) and looking with your head parallel to the ground but it's hard on the neck to hold that position. If your head is just slanted a little bit it won't affect your aerodynamics that much.

I guess I have to work on those neck muscles. Thanks for the info.
