A friend of mine just opened a new bike shop in Mocksville, NC which is about 20 miles or so south of Winston-Salem. His grand opening is Saturday, and as part of the festivities, he is having a "supported" 35 mile ride that morning in and around Mocksville. There is also a cookout afterwards and prizes to be given away, including a 2011 SE Draft single speed bike. All store merchandise will be 10% off. http://www.skinnywheels.com/index.html Eric is a good guy and hopefully the new shop will be a success. I plan to do the ride on Saturday morning. Expert 987 Durham, North Carolina | Subject: Winston Salem area rides this weekend? Bump... Anyone have any Cue sheets for good, safe rides in the W-S, Forsyth county area? Most roads/routes I'm near and take in the Kernersville area are full of traffic and rude drivers. Looking for a good long stretch of country/rural roads with very little traffic.
