Pre-race routine:

Ate breakfast when dogs got up; snoozed a little and then put on running gear and headed to Wellfleet - got there around 8 or a little before

Event warmup:

No warm-up since I wasn't planning to "race" this one...

Comments:

I had fun - wasn't expecting to be fast just coming off essentially 2 weeks off following NOTL marathon. Just took it easy. It was quite warm and muggy.

What would you do differently?:

Not run a marathon 2 weeks beforehand!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Timing of race in training schedule (2 weeks post marathon, but before starting build for next marathon)

Event comments:

I enjoy this race and do it every year that we are up here for the 4th. It always seems to start ~5 min late and they really could use something other than just water/sports drink at the end (orange slices, something).
