Subject: 13 Week Sprint Plan - Rest Week? Week 7 of the sprint plan is supposed to be a rest week, with no activity. This is the week that I started today, however. Parts of July I missed the mark with my training because we were on vacation (mainly I lacked motiviation). I do typically surpass the training time that the 13 week plan suggests. If I'm feeling okay, and doing well with the training so far, do I really need a rest week? Maybe it's better to take the week to focus on my weakest link? The swimming. I'm enjoying the training, and I'm totally pumped for the race in October! Thinking that next year the ending race might need to be an oly. :-) Im a bad BT'er and keep my training on a spreadsheet vs. BT logs, but I'm going to recreate them this week. |
