Hey all,

I've decided to sell my 2011 Felt B16 60cm tri bike.  I don't actually have any problems with it, other than I finally admitted to myself that the bike's geometry doesn't fit my body the way I'd like.  I'm 6'6" with slightly more height in my legs than torso.  The Felt frames are a bit more "reachy" than my body needs while just barely being tall enough.  In my opinion, it would be great for someone with a proportional build in the 6-1 to 6-5 range.  The bike's got 350 miles on it and no blemishes at all.  A great review with an accurate components list can be found here:

The only non-stock item is the extended seatpost that I ordered from Felt.  This seatpost is 350mm rather than 310mm.  I can take and post specific pictures if you'd like (attached is the stock photo of the wrong frame size).  I will ship the bike if necessary for something close to $65 (actual amount will vary slightly) with insurance using Fedex.  I'm looking for $1600 OBO.

Two things:

I should have said it will work well for a person 6-1 to 6-5 who is proportionally built OR has a longer torso.

Also, I'm located in the Minneapolis metro area.

This is a FANTASTIC bike.  Don't be fooled by the entry level price, read some reviews on it.

X2 on this being a great bike!  This is a great price too!!  Definitely better for folks with shorter legs and longer torsos...

Yes it is.  An important point, though, is that I don't have the legal restrictions that Felt dealers do.  In other words, you can't call TriSports and have them ship a bike to you.  Felt doesn't allow retailers to ship bikes to customers.  That price is also only valid on their remaining 48cm and 50cm bikes.

Your point is taken, though.  The OBO part of the price is still valid :-)

No insult taken, but right now I'll pass at that amount.  I've been a bit slow but I'm going to create a Craigslist ad for the Minneapolis area hopefully this weekend and see how that goes over the next few weeks.  I'm in no hurry to sell yet because I don't think I'll be purchasing the replacement until the March timeframe anyway.

My backup plan (which I've done once before with some success) is to put it on eBay for $1 with no reserve and just see what happens - hah.  If I get to that stage I'll post an update to this thread to see if there's still any interest.

I have a buddy that has been looking at the B16 for some time now and I think he falls in that 6'1"-6'5" range. We are located in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Let me talk to him and I will get back to you.
