Subject: Northern California Marathon Jan-Feb-March
I am looking to run a marathon some time in the first 3 months of 2006....anybody have favorites, suggestions? I just did the Silicon Valley Half M on Sunday, and am now looking to do the whole thing before tri season starts next year...

Going to sign up for the Napa Valley Marathon March 5th...timing is good, not much else to choose from, and a very scenic run downhill on the Silverado Trail....

Also try http://www.active.com There's some trail runs (if you want to go that route) that hit marathon distance.

My first, too...I just did a half M, got the taste of it ;-) looks like a really nice course: downhill and scenic. My first goal is to finish, but my second is to break 4 hrs. That would still be a middle of the pack finish. They seem pretty strict about the 5.5 hr. cut off....
