I'm doing ok so far, but I don't know how long I can hold out. There's a LOT and we let them have 2 pieces each per day so it's gonna be here a while.

Someone send me a daily  hourly message telling me to stay out of the candy.

Success! I made it out of the house today without a mit full of candy. Probably because it is Friday, my a** is dragging and my eyes weren't open enough to see the bowl. Hopefully nobady brings any into the shop today and i will be golden (until I get home).

Guilty as charged. But isn't that part of everyone's training diet? I'm actually going through candy withdrawal today.

Heh.

I decided it'd be a bit hypocritical to give out tons of sugar loaded candy, so I didn't.
I gave out Clif Z-Bars instead.

Plus all the leftovers I have make nice pre/post gym snacks that I can have and not worry about.

You didn't seriously give out ZBARS?  Those things are EXPENSIVE!

At 8:00Pm on Oct 31, there was half a bag of  "Whoppers" left over. By 10:00PM they were gone.

Shhh. Don't tell. I ate two snack-sized butterfingers today. I'm going to eat salads the rest of this week. And the goodie-filled holidays just started!

Dr Hammer - 2005-11-03 2:19 PM OK. I will be the person you all hate. Haven't had any halloween candy to speak of. Was tempted but held up. I would have to walk to another building to get and that just takes too much time.

I'll join you.  I haven't had any either, but that's because I don't have kids and I live out in the boonies where there are no trick o' treaters [stuff deleted]

I had a fun-size Snicker's bar Sunday, but nothing else. 'Course I wasn't anywhere with Trick-or-Treaters October 31.

Now I did hoist one or two to celebrate the Melbourne Cup on November 1!

Halloween Candy Invasion, Day 8:

Noting my continued powerlessness in the face of the Butterfinger and Tootsie Roll onslaught, I've decided to start logging my "nutrition" here on BT again, hoping that public diclosure may shame me into better behavior. So far so good.

N.B: The daily dark chocolate kiss is not Halloween candy. It's my *maintenance* dose of chocolate, and has been around a lot longer than 8 days!
