Subject: New bike for new triathlete
Well I am going to make my first road bike purchase for tris, and I just liked going fast when I switched the tires on my mtb to train! I am not too experienced with road bikes though, any suggestions for a 5'4 135 lb girl? Im one that likes to do a little research before I go into a bike shop and go off of whoever may help me. I'll probably hit a couple bike shops to get some opinions though. Thanks!

Looking to stay around $1000. I am just unsure of what to look out for! (components, tribike vs. road, etc)

Let's try help narrow it down a little with some more questions.

Are you only going to ride triathlons with it? Are you going to go on group rides also?

Are you willing to buy used or just new?
