Subject: My Strange ankles Now this is unusual. Monday I went out for a nice easy two mile run. I warmed up before, stretched after. No problems. When I got up in the morning my right ankle was a touch sore. I didn't give it a second thought "just the usual achy muscles" I thought. In the evening it was still sore so I looked at it, it was quite noticably swollen. For some strange reason I thought that a turn on the exercise bike would help. I figured there would be no pressure on the ankle just an increased flow of blood around it which I thought would be beneficial. It certainly didn't hurt at all while cycling.
This morning when I got up my ankle was back to normal and didn't hurt at all. In fact I expect to do a 3.5 mile run tomorrow. Am I brave or foolish to attempt this? and why did my ankle swell up for just one day?
