Just curious what other injuries people are dealing with.....

I'll start the list:

Moderate shin splints (mostly right leg)
Mild hamstring pull/bruise

Lara and Dana think I'm pregnant :-O
But having just looked at the medical dictionary on my desk. The only problem I have is a medial malleolus that is slightly tender under pressure

My only injury is dealing with a bruised ego.
My brick today didn't go as well as I had hoped.
Poor me...

knee pain comes and goes, just got over shin splints (new shoes fixed that)..but the worst is a double hernia. Work my tail off to get where I am, now probably have to have surgery, put me out of commission for a month or two. Haven't been to the doctor yet, have been hoping it is just a strain. Unfortunately, everyone I have talked to that has had this problem tells me it isn't going to go away. and worse, stuff could start hanging out. Doesn't sound too thrilling.

Injury free for three years (knock on wood)!!!!!

Had a bad ankle sprain about 5 years back that I have to be careful with, but otherwise, I'm a lucky girl!!

atraumatic shoulder instability -which comes not from tri-ing, but from years and years (okay, multiple decades) of hyper-flexibility. Well, that coupled with aging. And being an idiot figures in there somewhere, too.

Shin splints.

I had been successful at being shin spint free until I played tennis last week, and think that is what flared them up again. Have been not running as thearpy, and shins are feeling OK today. Will see what happens after a run later.

From the Bike Crash 2 weeks ago....

Ankle Sprain - improved,I am actually walking now (with an air cast)

Shoulder - Still bad, It may be 2-4 more months before I am doing much with it.

The biggest thing that I am dealing with is post concussion syndrome. I have the worst headaches. They are so bad some days that I can't move.

Ugh, JayC! So sorry to hear about the lingering headaches!! Glad that the ankle is taking your weight though, that's a great improvement. Rest well, heal well, and try not to go stir crazy!!
