Subject: Glucosamine/Chondroitin Question
Any of you have ever used Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement? In some documentation says that:

"Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate supplements are used to slow the progression of osteoarthritis — the deterioration of cartilage between joint bones — and to reduce the associated pain."

And what about MSN? Any idea?

THanks for the help, I just don't want to go to the drugstore, and start using it before someone else opinion.

Thanks.....

I use both supplements religiously as well as MSM. All three of these usually go together hand in hand. I swear by the stuff. I have a really bad left knee, and it still bothers me from time to time, but I definitely believe that this stuff works, from what I understand, you usually need to be using it for a couple of months before you start to notice any changes.

That is good stuff! Hope no one is offended when I compare them to my dog (I do think very highly of him), but I put my older dog on Glucosamine/Chondroitin and his mobility increased dramatically! I had to stop letting him out on the fire escape because he started escaping down the stairs again for the first time in 3 years!

I am thinking now "why aren't I on that?" and think I will swing by the store on my way home today. My dog's suppliments are liver flavored and I think I will just pass on sharing them....

I swear by it. I pretty well trashed my knees in the Army, and I could hear and feel a 'click' when hiking uphill, climbing stairs, etc. Since I've been taking it, I have no clicking, no pain, and my knees feel better than they have in years.

I take two Glucosamine and one MSM a day with the rest of my supplements. I noticed a big difference in my knee joints. My husband also takes the same (he has had knee surgery from an old football injury) and he is pain free.

I haven't had much luck with GCM combo, but I am trying it again anyhow.

Thanks for all the recommendations, last night I purchased the Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM supplement from GNC.

I hope in a couple of week to see the results.

Thanks you all...!!

Does this only help with joint pain? or also with other soft tissue problems (shin splints)??
