arrived in my mailbox today.  It's the 2004 GEAR GUIDE!  My favorite thing in the world....new toys to buy! (if I had a job).  Wetsuits, goggles, frames, complete bikes, pedals, saddles, aerobars, wheels, shoes, computers, running shoes, bags. sunglasses..... yes, there's more, but I'm off to read it 

oh, and it even ranks 100 of the big "name" races.

Do you have to mail order the magazine or can you get it at a speciality store? I love to look at stuff I can't afford.

I sometimes wonder if there were a sport that required you to buy absolutely nothing, would anyone participate? For me, part of the fun of being involved in athletic activity is acquiring the necessary "stuff." And with triathlons, we get to triple that!

Be sure and pass that catalog to me tonite Ellen...I wanna drool too!

ok, I'm back.  As for American TRI...

I think I got my subscription 2 years ago now.  I never know when it is going to show up or when it is supposed to show up.  I don't even know when my subscription expires.  They had production problems in the very beginning but promised to come thru and they have.  It is a great magazine geared to age groupers.

I don't know if it's available on the news stand because I've never looked for it there.  It's not like you know to look for it on the X date of every month.  You can also order back issues from their website (www.americantri.com).
