Subject: RE: badly organized race it actually was advertised, however, the course it turns out was held in an area with stop lights and intersections nearly every block, requiring triathletes to slow down and at times, to even come to a complete stop (what's the point of racing if you have to stop and worry about getting hit? ). i felt that safety in this case, outweighed my goal of racing and stretching out before my peak race in a few weeks. the triathlons i have competed in had great organization with police offers and volunteers assisting traffic, no such luck in this case. |
