runnergirl29 - 2005-12-01 10:12 AM I called and talked to someone. I'm finally in after the 12th try.  Oh yeah- did ya'll put something funny for your profession?  I put "professional burrito tester".
My question is when you kept having to enter the information into the fields over and over again, did you keep putting "professional burrito taster" in the profession field all 12 times or was it just the last time. And if you did do it every time did you giggle as much the 12th asyou did the first?

No- I didn't do it until the last 2 times.  For the first 10 times, I just wrote "pharmaceuticals."  Then on the 11th try, I actually wrote "professional thread poster for BT".  Then I found that didn't go through, on the last try I changed it to "professional burrito taster."  Yeah I giggled a little- sometimes I just crack myself up!

rant....

first year with a new director.  huh.

I haven't gotten email confirmation from 10am this morning (almost 5 now) I sent to register for their forum.  I tried two different email addresses.

All those people jacked up multiple entries, there should be place for others.  I don't think that's quite fair.  They want them to pay like $500 for a Charity Spot now.   Couldn't they solve their problems by having Active.com do it for them?

There's a thread over on ST dissing this event as being overcrowded.  Unfortunately, Im so freaking slow I don't even notice it.  But the swim was something else.

Okay...so I think I registered but now I am not sure.  I got a confirmation number and everything, but they billed me for just a day pass for the USAT.  When y'all type your name in the participant screen, does it bring up info or something, because it doesn't do anything for me.

Help!!

Give it time.  You're in.  I bought a USAT permit and later got an email saying they'd charge my card for the event price.  I registered again in full.  Got another email saying they'd be deleting the duplicate registrations.

 See you there!
