Subject: TOTAL NEWBIE Q: what brand bike to look to buy (2nd hand)
Hi all

Ok. I have a mountain bike which I am starting to train on. But in the new year I will be looking at getting probably a second hand tri bike.....but being a newbie (and I mean have NO idea) what brands should I be looking out for to buy in regards to quality / durability etc?

Not sure if this helps, but I am about 165cm (5 ft 5) in height so that might change the type of bike I am looking for (not sure if you need to know this info - laugh if you may!!!

Thanks,

Janine

Litespeed, Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, Felt, Cervelo, Lemond, Klein, Raleigh, Schwinn, Scott, Fuji, Javelin, Quintana Roo, Kuota, Ibex, Motobecane, Tommaso, Douglas, Jamis, Bianchi, Orbea, Merckx, Merlin, Seven, Serotta, Indy Fab, Look, Time, Colnago, Kestrel, Pinarello, Moots, and De Rosa and a couple dozen others I can't remember ALL make quality, durable road and triathlon bikes. Take your time, do your research, learn of the differences and make an educated choice. Most importantly, get one that fits properly.

Or, just buy a RED one, you can't go wrong.
