First Tri on 5/16

Ready or not, here I go! Have been cycling for about 3 years, ran 3 marathons in a 12 month period including the dastardly hot LA Marathon in March 2004. (Mind you, I'm not a speed demon!) Jumped into the pool in mid-March! First time ever in a coached swimming environment. Plan was to do the Long Beach Triatholon-Sprint Distance in September 2004. Something made me do it! I signed up for the LA Triatholon Championship - International Distance on 5/16. I haven't done bricks, haven't swam in the wetsuit, yet! Haven't done an open water swim, yet! My goal: To have fun and finish!

Want some giggles? This should be disaster waiting to happen and should be pretty funny! (I can laugh at myself just as much as anyone else can!!) If you're in Southern California area and want to be assured of not coming in last, come to Bonelli Park in San Dimas
