Does anyone know about or is it possible to get insurance for your bike?

I dont know but I do beleive you can have a rider on your home insurance policy. I have alot of money tied up in golf clubs and they are on there. Looks like now bikes will take their place. To be sure check with your local insurance provider.Hope this helps.

Should be covered as property under your homeowners policy, check with your agent. Don't think they make a special policy for bicycles (collision coverage?).

I've had a rider on my tenants policy before.. I think it was an extra $40 a year, but it covered my bike in case it was in a crash, stolen, etc. So, if anything were to happen, I would have had immediate replacement without having to pay a deductible (or, a minimal deductible, like $50 instead of $500).

If you've spent a good chunk of coin on your bike, it is probably worth it, if not for just peace of mind.

Home and renter's insurance covers bikes. If you go out and get run over then the bike should be covered.
