Subject: Feet getting cold
I have been riding outside for the past couple of weeks now. Every time I ride, after about 30min, my feet are freezing. It has limited me on how long I have been able to ride and it is driving me crazy. It's not the shoes, its the wind cutting through the shoes. Any suggestions would greatly help.

Get booties - your LBS will have them.  If you go, just explain what you need and they will be able to point you at them.

Also, don't make the mistake of wearing too many pairs of socks.  Tight shoes = cold feet.  I know this seems REALLY counterintuitive, I didn't believe it until I experienced it myself.  But out on a very cold ride this past fall and had on 2 pr.  Someone told me to take off a pair so I did and my feet warmed up considerably.

I agree that too many socks equals cold feet. I never heard of the booties before. I'll see if they have any. Thanks

I use the booties over the shoes, plus some "hot packs" at the toes. And, I keep my socks by the heat vent overnight so they are toasty when I put my feet in them in the early AM.

If you don't know what hot packs are, you live too far south to care, and don't need them.

The booties are like these. Not presonally saying THESE are the best, just an example. They zip over your bike shoes and have templates on the bottom to cut out so you can clip into your pedals...
