Subject: RE: How many DNF's? Yeah, when I did Wisconsin in 2003 it was hot and humid and the DNF rate was 15%, the highest ever for an IMNA event. This year it was hot, humid, and windy, and the DNF rate was 19%. It doesn't surprise me that Hawaii had a low DNF rate; the competitors tend to be better, since they had to earn their spots or win the lottery and then compete a qualifying race, and supposedly this year had great conditions for Hawaii (not too hot, not too windy ).
