Subject: stationary bike "v" road ...
I was forced to use the stationary bike yesterday and I just have a question for the experienced people here. I felt like I was going at a beter pace on the stationary bike than on the road ... is this because of no wind etc... if there is a difference how sould i modify my workouts to make the stationary and the road more equal ... doest this make sense to anyone but me???

thanks

They are very different. No wind, no balance, no turning, no traffic. On a stationary all you are doing is pedaling. Get outside as much as possible. If you can't use the stationary. It is a good work out, but nothing replaces the original. Have you ever used a bike trainer? It attaches to your bike and is the best way to workout inside.
