in just 10 weeks...

10 weeks ago I posted here asking if a slow ultra distance runner could train up to Olympic Tri distance in 3 months. Your encouragement got me in the water. Yesterday, I swam 800 meters, twice. I never would have thought that possible 3 months ago. I really never would have thought it possible after that first swim workout, when I couldn't make it 25 meters without coughing and thinking I was going to die. But I did it.

I just wanted to say thanks for the kick that got me going. The coolest thing about this site (other than the excellent free advice), is how helpful and encouraging everyone here is. Thanks.

My race is May 31st, and now I know without out a doubt that I can do it.
