So for you more experienced riders who have not tried Power Cranks......find yourself a class. I felt like a 2 year old learning to ride a bike. Great FUN!

For me, a piece of training equipment that turned an experienced rider into someone whose legs resembled jello.......apparently my legs only work together. It really is a matter of practice....and yes, they can be for any level of rider. So basically it was a spin class with part of the time locking in the power cranks....a local triathlete has a personal fitness business and has them on 8 of his spin bikes.

I have no data to support that Powercranks htlp running (I do for cycling), but endurance in the hip flexors should, intuitively, help runners maintain a higher turnover even when fatigue, which would improve triathlon running performance.

I think they will help your running, but that is an opinion that is not based in empirical data.
