A tri...this weekend...already?

I can't believe its almost here...

I have my first Tri (in 16 yrs anyway) this weekend. Its a two hr. drive from here and I wanted to drive up the day before, but I got scheduled to do traffic control for a bike race (fair enough.) Guess its drive and get up there real late, or leave here real early.

The format is a bit different than other Tris I've seen: run-bike-swim. The 1/4 mi. swim is in a pool so maybe the format allows the pack to thin (???)

I'm still a bit nervous about the swim. Its always been my weak link, and it was easy to justify taking a break from it becasue I was competing in more run and bike specific events. An eye infection didn't help either. I have been back in the pool though, and know I can at least finish the swim, though no records will be broken.

Too bad I can't find the results from my previous Tris. It'd be fun to compare times.
