I just want to say

Please feel free to take it easy and fudge on your plan a bit over these next few weeks. Especially if you are going to be racing me.
That extra beer...go ahead
Miss a workout, or a week....that's fine, hell I applaud you for it.
So what if your bike is gathering dust or laundry in the corner?
As long as you're racing me I think that's great, keep up the good work.
Who realy wants to get up and jump into a cold pool at the butt-crack of dawn anyway?
I don't blame you one bit.
I think you're a better person for it really.
Especially if you're going to be racing me.
A hundred years from now, no-one will know or care if you slacked off. I
'll be glad you did come spring, though.
So just kick back, flip a couple of channels, take it easy.
I'll be really grateful if you do.
Seriously, though
Remember that guy who you beat last year.....he's training.
The one who just edged you out...him too.
Whatcha gonna do?

Since I'm also in Virginia, I'll take that as a (friendly) challenge. What races are you planning to do this season?

I'm tentatively set on Luray, C-ville Sprint, C-ville Olympic, Big Lick.

I'm looking at Angels, SML, maybe Luray, maybe Bath, Culpeper, Big Lick

Now get to slacking.

Best of luck -- break a leg! (well, not literally)
