how many blades r they gonna end up fitting on shavers? the 'mach3 turbo' has 3 blades. when i was younger i had 1 blade and that was cool. so basically, like in the year 2010, they will have the 'mach-zillion-super-turbo-lightspeed' with a row of like 20 blades on a 1 foot platform. getting cut would truly suck on one of those.

lets get back down to 2...seems reasonable?

Have you ever noticed that three actually makes no difference whatsoever, like you say, its just half as much blood again.
Two is definatly the way to go.
Disposable aswell, always seem to last longer than the overpriced replacement blades, (Why doe the replacement blades always cost more than the disposable razors?)

Subject: the quattro

i guess i am being unreasonble as one of the razor companies is coming out with a FOUR...yes a FOUR bladed razor!  tested by certified 'face feelers' the 4-bladed quattro will  definately remove that outer layer of skin complete with hair follicles ensuring that 'closest shave' ever.  if not completely satisfied, we will send u a FREE adapter to join 2 quattro blade units into one creating the 8-blade razor TOO totally ensure u that close shave.

disclaimer - we are not liable for any face disfigurement from the usage of our product.  should u decide to shave off your chin or lips with our patented 4 blade technology, we recommend seeing a plastic surgeon which will (of course) not be covered by us.

Dermatologist told me that the more blades you have the worse it is for your skin and the more ingrown hairs you get. He recommended not to get one over two blades.
