Woo! Congrats Leah! I hear that they were already half full by 1pm today.. so if anyone's hoping to register, do it soooooooon..

I'm not doing the race this year (maybe 2007? 2008?), but I'll be out there volunteering (and cheering on my fellow BT folk!)

Congratulations on signing up guys. This was a really great event last year. It was probably the best triathlon I've ever done. If you get the chance, get your body marking done by Lori Bowden.

How's the bike leg, it says it is really challenging, but of my memory of the roads it is on I can't remember these roads being that difficult? Any thoughts?

The bike leg is pretty challenging. There are lots of hills. Most are rollers, but the one on the west side (was the road called Westlake or something???) is a big one with not enough speed on the downhill to carry you up. Also there is always a headwind at the top of the course.
